myServicefellow is an app for mobile ethnographic research. It allows users to document and assess their experiences of a selected subject matter, such as a customer journey through a certain service. Users can define touchpoints, and evaluate and document them using text notes, photos, videos and voice memos. Besides, the app automatically records date and time as well as GPS information of each touchpoint. The aim is to gather an in-depth understanding of user experiences.
To use myServiceFellow you need to have a personal log-in assigned to a defined project. Your responsible project coordinator will provide you with your personal username and password. To become a project coordinator and thus to be able to set up your own projects, you need to have access to the analytical back-end website ServiceFollow. Please visit

Please be aware, that that myServiceFellow is for research purposes only and information you provide, such as photos, videos, voice memos and text notes, will be used for the respective research project. Contact your responsible project coordinator if you have any questions regarding the legal framework of the respective project. All data will be stored locally on the device and uploaded concertedly to the database on command, so you do only need an active internet connection when you first log in to your assigned project, and when you log out of your project and confirm to upload your data (synchronization process). Please assure to have a free internet connection to avoid data (roaming) costs.
